Breathe Marketing was initially engaged by ETSA Utilities in 2012 to help project manage their name change to SA Power Networks. The rebrand of South Australia’s electricity distributor was complex involving 2,000 staff working out of 30 depots, over 800 vehicles and numerous other assets that needed rebranding. The name change was coordinated across the whole state to go live on 3 September 2012, which involved an internal launch via a staff roadshow and other launch activities.
Since then, Breathe Marketing has been engaged on several projects for SA Power Networks, including developing a 5 year strategic communications plan; launching and marketing a battery trial; additional branding work; and supporting the launch of world-first technology in relation to flexible solar exports. A close working relationship has been developed with the Corporate Communications team and the Customer & Community team, and we are regularly called upon to assist in various communication projects.
